Senior Support Worker Redland (BS6)

Silva Care are currently looking for a new senior support worker to join our hard working and friendly support worker team in Redland, Bristol. Our starting wages begin at £13.07 per hour which can rise to £13.32 after 1 year of service, plus weekend enhancements rates.

Due to the needs of the service, applicants must be female.

Job purpose

To Participate in the management of the service and the supervision of other staff. Promoting a caring environment for the service users through high standards of practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of the service users. To Ensure that each service user receives care appropriate to their needs and to assist in the implementation of the requirements of the national minimum standards for Domiciliary care agencies, published in accordance with the care standards Act 2000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support service users with daily living, personal care, and independence
• Provide emotional and practical support to both service users and staff
• Assist with medication, finances, health & safety, and well-being
• Foster community involvement and social activities
• Supervise, train, and support staff, ensuring a positive team environment
• Help with administrative tasks and compliance with CQC standards

• Experience in social care and team supervision
• Commitment to training and personal development

Any other duties:

• To maintain a full driving licence valid in the UK.
• To participate in the duties of the on-call procedure
