Halloween Disco 2021

Along with many other things in 2020, we missed out on our annual Halloween Disco at South Park – so for 2021 we were determined to put on this usual feature in our yearly calendar for the people we support (whilst making it as Covid safe as possible of course!)

We held 4 different disco sessions over the course of a Friday and invited peer groups to join us for a dance and to dress up if they wanted to.

Everyone who attended got their own personalised ticket ahead of the event to secure them entry and then got a ‘Trick or Treat’ bag when they arrived.

Our ‘Trick or Treat’ bags included some snacks, Halloween goodies or we provided a sensory option which did not contain any food stuffs. Sensory bags had coloured rice or chickpeas along with other Halloween-themed sensory toys.

It was really nice to see the people we support enjoying themselves and dancing throughout their disco session, some people have some epic moves that we missed out on last year!

Prizes were given out in each session for costumes – well done to those who were winners!

We are already looking forward to Halloween 2022!

A huge thank you to:

All our support workers who supported our service users to this event – your hard work is always appreciated
